Model United Nations 2026-27

What does it take to find common ground when the world disagrees? Model United Nations gives students the opportunity to explore that question by stepping into the roles of diplomats, researching global issues and working with others to develop solutions to some of the most pressing challenges facing the world today.

Your gift will help subsidize conference participation and travel, reducing cost barriers so more students can benefit from these experiences. Support also strengthens the training and mentorship that occurs within the club that ensures our students are prepared and able to participate meaningfully, whether they are attending their first conference or taking on leadership roles.

In Model UN, students develop an awareness of world issues and current events, understand interests beyond their own and negotiate with empathy and purpose. They practise public speaking, collaboration and the patient work of building consensus. In an increasingly complex global environment, Model UN helps students develop the knowledge, judgement and confidence to contribute thoughtfully—and see themselves as people who can help shape a better world.
